1970’s inspired short length dress in black lurex-weave. Features an exaggerated, contrast detachable collar with easily separable buttons. Detailing snap fastening down center front to provide easy access for breastfeeding, finished with decorative, dome rhinestone buttons. A-line, loose fit silhouette with full sleeves and three-button contrast cuffs. Comes with a thin belt that may be tied to accentuate the waist. Paired with black lurex-weave culottes, full-cut and gathered at upper thigh, with soft ruffle finish.

Our black lurex weave is a fabric that was produced by a larger design house. The full quantity was not used by them and would have ended up in a landfill. So, we saved the fabric, the abundant resources and energy used to create it, and chose to give this deadstock fabric a second life, as our beautiful Laurel Dress.

Choosing deadstock fabric is one important step towards effectively breaking the harmful cycle. Our brand believes in saving our planet and minimizing our waste, water and energy footprint wherever we can. We strive to be a part of the emergent movement towards sustainable fashion.
